We know you may have a few questions before getting started, and we’re here to help. This FAQ page is designed to provide clear, helpful answers to the most common questions we receive—from booking and timelines to what you can expect throughout the process.

Investment
Each session fee includes a specific number of fully edited high resolution digitals, additional images are available for purchase individually or in bulk for a discount rate. I do not require you to print through my site, but I encourage client’s to use the print lab I suggest so that I can ensure the quality of their work and their customer service.
Mini sessions start at $125, birthday portraits start and cake smash sessions start at $250, Family portraits start at $350
Within two weeks of your session, I will cull the images and hand select the best images from each pose/grouping to hand edit each image. Your gallery will be sent to you via email and it will include the best images from your session. Through my site you will have the opportunity to select your favorite images for immediate download. Additional images are available for purchase, the number of images in your gallery depends on what I am able to capture during your session. Discount codes will be provided for the purchase of additional images.
Gallery
Mini Sessions
Who: Children. Children of the same family will be photographed during the same session time. Friends and/or cousins will need their own session, if you’d like them to take portraits together pease book back to back mini sessions.
What: Holiday themed sets throughout the year. Mini sessions are a great way to celebrate holidays that capture your children in a quick and fun way. Mini sessions are 15 minutes.
When: Offered only on specific days and times. Availability is limited. All minis sessions are setup back to back, please arrive early and be prepared for your session to ensure you get your full appointment time.
Where: Mini sessions are photographed at parks and gardens in La Crescenta, Glendale and Pasadena.
Galleries will be delivered to you within two weeks, this can be effected by my editing queue. You will always receive your gallery before the holiday we are photographing (ie valentine’s mini sessions will receive their gallery before valentine’s day).
Portraits
Maternity, Newborn, Graduation, Birthday and Family
Who: Immediate family, spouse and your children. To include extended family please contact me for pricing. After reserving your session an outfit suggestion guide will be sent to you, to help achieve the best look for your session.
What: Portrait sessions are to capture your season of life. Whatever stage you’re in, let’s capture it before time passes by.
When: These sessions are booked directly with me based on a time that works for both of us. For availability please email me at ashley@ashleywalkerphotography.com
Where: Sessions are photographed at parks and gardens in La Crescenta, Glendale and Pasadena areas. For other locations please inquire, a travel fee may apply. Location planning is apart of my services and I will do my best to find a location that suits the time of year and your desired look and feel. Newborn and in-home sessions take place in your home. All other portrait sessions will be photographed in the afternoon or evening based on lighting conditions during the time of year.

Cake Smashes
Who: Birthday Star. The set is designed with a one year old in mind.
What: A celebration of your child’s first birthday. A customized, one of a kind set will be created for you to celebrate this milestone. The session takes place on a set and we begin with portraits of your child then we set the cake down and allow them to have a fun smash.
When: These sessions are booked directly with me based on a time that works for both of us. For availability please email me at ashley@ashleywalkerphotography.com Cake smash sessions are photographed in the morning on a set at a park or in the afternoon for nature sessions.
Where: Set sessions are photographed at a park in La Crescenta. Nature sessions can be held at other parks.

Sitter
Who: Infants. This session happens during baby’s first year, to capture them mid-year when they are sitting unassisted.
What: A celebration of your infants new milestone. One of their first achievements and to capture them mid-year since they are changing so quickly! This session takes place on a set, that is simple to keep the focus on baby.
