There is something so special about the stage between newborn and first birthday—when your baby is sitting independently, discovering the world around them, and letting their little personality shine.

Sitter portraits celebrate this sweet milestone while preserving just how much your baby has grown and changed during their first year.

A MILESTONE WORTH REMEMBERING

Sitter sessions are designed for babies who can sit independently but aren't quite on the move yet, typically between 6 and 9 months old.

At this age, babies are often full of smiles, expressions, curiosity, and personality, making it one of my favorite stages to photograph. From those first proud sitting moments to chubby little toes, belly laughs, and curious expressions, these sessions are all about capturing your baby exactly as they are right now.

As a mother of two and a photographer with more than a decade of experience working with babies and children, I keep sitter sessions relaxed, playful, and completely baby-led. There is no expectation for your little one to perform or smile on command—we simply give them space to explore, interact, and be themselves.

YOUR SITTER SESSION

Sitter Portrait Session — $325

Sitter sessions are 20 minutes and include:

    •    A thoughtfully designed portrait setup

    •    Two outfit looks

    •    Access to my curated sitter client closet

    •    Coordinating props and accessories

    •    A private online proofing gallery

    •    5 individually hand-edited, high-resolution digital images of your choice

    •    Personal printing rights

    •    The option to purchase additional images

I provide everything needed to create a beautiful, cohesive look for your baby's portraits. Sets are kept simple and timeless, with carefully selected outfits, textures, and props that complement your little one without taking the focus away from them.

All you need to bring is your baby.

WHEN TO BOOK

Every baby reaches milestones at a different pace, so there is no exact age required for a sitter session. The perfect time is once your baby can confidently sit upright without assistance.

For most babies, this happens somewhere between 6 and 9 months.
