Congratulations to you and your family on this upcoming milestone! As a mother of two (ages twelve and eight), I know how quickly time flies. I still remember my own children’s first birthdays as some of the most special moments—the first year passes in a blink! Capturing your baby’s first birthday is a wonderful way to preserve these fleeting memories, and you won’t regret it.
Safety is always my top priority, I am fully vaccinated. All of my cake smash sessions are held outdoors, either on a custom set or in nature. Cake smash portraits are $500 and include 8 images.
Cake smash sessions are one of my most popular offerings and are fully customizable. The best part? Everything—the personalized set and smash cake—is ready before you arrive, so all you need to bring is your little one! I provide outfits from my client closet and a smash cake from a local bakery in La Crescenta.
For families who want to use the portraits for invitations or party displays, I recommend scheduling 2–4 weeks in advance. If the images aren’t needed for that, sessions can be scheduled 1–2 weeks before the birthday.
Themed Set Sessions: Photographed in the morning (9–12pm) at a park in La Crescenta under a covered patio, on a fully customized set.
Nature Sessions: Photographed in the late afternoon or early evening for optimal lighting, with timing based on the sunset.
